Dimensions

  • Refer to the “OUTLINE DIMENSIONS” diagram on page 2 of the PDF for detailed measurements. Key dimensions include retracted and extended boom lengths, jib extended length, and various height and width measurements. Note that some dimensions are dependent on the selected truck chassis.

Weights

  • Total crane weight (including hydraulic fluid): 27,000 lbs. (12,247 kgs).
  • Additional Weights (from the “WEIGHTS” table):
  • 30’6″ (9.30m) fixed-length jib: 1,120 lbs (508 kgs).
  • 55′ (16.76m) telescopic jib: 1,700 lbs (771 kgs).
  • 15-ton (13.6-mt) single-sheave block: 430 lbs (195 kgs).
  • 30-ton (27.2-mt) triple-sheave block: 450 lbs (204 kgs).
  • Hanger sheave for 5- and 6-part line: 50 lbs (23 kgs).
  • 22’4″ (6.81m) steel or wood bed: 2,000 lbs (907 kgs).

Truck Chassis Requirements (Minimum)

  • Refer to the “TRUCK CHASSIS DATA” table for minimum truck chassis requirements.
  • Key requirements include:
  • Wheelbase: 258″ (6,553mm) or 192″ (4,877mm).
  • Front Axle Gross Weight Rating: 18,000 lbs. (8,165 kgs).
  • Rear Axle Gross Weight Rating: 38,000 lbs. (17,237 kgs).
  • Frame Section Modulus: 25.0 in³ (410 cc).
  • Nominal Frame Width: 34″ (864mm).
  • Cab to Axle: See table.

Load Ratings

  • Refer to the “MODEL 30100 LOAD RATING CHART” on page 3 of the PDF for detailed load capacity information at various boom lengths and operating radii.
  • Also, see “JIB LOAD RATING IN LBS./KGS, WITH OUTRIGGERS AND STABILIZERS EXTENDED” on page 4.
  • Important Notes on Load Ratings:
  • Capacity charts are for reference only and not for specific serial number crane operation.
  • Lifting off the main boom point with the swing-around jib erected is not approved.
  • Deductions must be made from rated loads for stowed jib, attachments, hooks, and load blocks (see deduction chart).
  • Load ratings below the heavy line are stability limited capacities and do not exceed 85% of tipping.
  • Main boom load ratings above the heavy line are based on hoist cylinder pressure and structural competence, and do not exceed 85% of tipping.

Allowable Line Pull

  • See the “ALLOWABLE LINE PULL” chart in the PDF. This chart specifies line pull capacities for 1-part through 6-part lines, along with the associated equipment (overhaul ball, single/double/triple sheave blocks, etc.).
  • Breaking strength information for wire ropes is also provided.
  • Jib load ratings above the heavy line are based on structural competence.
  • When the boom is not fully extended, use the loaded boom angle to determine the jib load rating.
  • Crane load ratings on outriggers are based on freely suspended loads with the machine leveled on a firm surface.
  • Do not move a load horizontally on the ground.

Safety Information

  • WARNING: Operators must read and understand the owner’s manual and other instructions before operating any Manitex crane.
  • WARNING: Do not operate any Manitex truck-mounted crane or accessories within 10′ (3.05m) of live power lines.
  • The anti-two block system must be in good operating condition before operating the crane.

Important Notes

  • Specifications are subject to change without notice due to ongoing improvements.
  • This chart is a guide only; notes and warnings are for illustration and cannot be used to operate a crane.

This specification page is based on the provided PDF document and should be used as a general guide. For specific details and operational information, always consult the official Manitex documentation and manuals.
